Located close to the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Vaucluse, Château Fortia is one of the oldest Châteauneuf-du-Pape properties. Fortia once belonged to Baron Le Roy, who laid the foundation of the AOC system. Since 2004, the estate is managed by Pierre Pastre. It is a property of 31.50 ha of vineyards whose southern orientation, combined with soil characteristics, confers certain typicality to Fortia wines.
