Very nice ruby/purple robe with a nose of black cherry. Rich, with fruity expressions of vanilla and liquorice. An elegant and pure texture with very fine tannins and a beautiful structure. This wine can be kept for 20 years.
This iconic wine owes its name to Victor Lanson who wished to pay tribute in 1937 to the flagship market House, Britain. Champagne dominated by Pinot Noir, it is naturally that the black color, symbol of elegance, has imposed itself.
