Run by Michel Caillot since 2006, the 13-hectare domaine was established by his father, Roger in 1967 in the prestigious Meursault appellation. Michel employs long fermentation and aging periods, releasing his wines much later than other vineyards. The reds are smooth and supple with pure berry and cherry aromas, Soft, round tannins and lush, ripe fruits on the palate.
Michel Caillot Pommard 2016
Pommard is made up of numerous climates, each with its own character, rarely uniform. Nuances of bouquet and vinosity set them apart. They age well, are full-flavoured and structured, and develop complex aromas. This unique terroir produces wines which produce a rare combination of power and elegance.
