This Coteaux Bourguignons shows red fruits and spices notes, especially grey pepper. A nice food pairing with meat dishes with sauce, game meat and cheeses.
This cuvee is made from Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes located in the small city of Saint Bris le Vineux, all hand harvested and fully destemmed. Fermentation then is started and lasts for about 8 days in a stainless-steel vat, with cap punching and pumping over during maceration. It then spends a year in a stainless-steel vat and then is filtered with a Kielselghur before bottling.
This Coteaux Bourguignons shows red fruits and spices notes, especially grey pepper. The fact that is maturation is done in a stainless-steel vat helps to create this delicate aroma.
This wine will be a nice food pairing with meat dishes with sauce, game meat and cheeses.
Serving temperature is around 14 degrees Celsius.
Fruity and spicy while young, can keep up to 5 years.
