MONTLOUIS-SUR-LOIRE, A YOUNG AND DYNAMIC APPELLATION
Established in 1937, the AOC Montlouis-sur-Loire encompasses three communes (Montlouis-sur-Loire, Saint-Martin-Le-Beau, Lussault-sur-Loire) and is situated on a 450-hectare clay-limestone plateau. The vines are mostly planted on gentle slopes, facing south towards the Cher Valley. They benefit from an oceanic influence and a microclimate.

Chenin Blanc (also known as Pineau de la Loire) is the exclusive grape variety of AOC Montlouis-sur-Loire. This grape is known for producing wines with high acidity and medium-to-full body, featuring prominent notes of apple, pear, quince, white flowers, and honey. Chenin Blanc is also capable of producing sparkling wines, known for their freshness and thirst-quenching quality.
