Tasting note
Obtained exclusively from hand-picked Saperavi grapes, the Georgian variety, Stalin’s personal favourite, is often used to obtain red dessert wines or fortified wines. In this case, mature grapes were used to create a fresh and balanced taste with an intense aroma, that is part of the Gitana Winery Reserva Premium range. It carries aromas of red fruits with a pronounced minerality due to the maturation in clay amphoras which gives as well a strong taste and some creamy notes.
