Domaine Alexis de Benoist Mâcon-Cruzille ‘La Bausse’ 2018

100% Chardonnay. This wine has a light golden yellow hue with bright reflections. Subtle aromas of fresh fruits accompanied by hints of lemon. With time to breathe, richer aromas emerge: ripe white fruits and a hint of honey combined with a touch of spice, particularly vanilla. From the attack, the mouth-feel is synonymous with amplitude and roundness.
Balance is provided by a hint of acidity on the finish. A delicate wine which develops a well-defined flavour profile; to accompany sea bream or oven grilled sea bass and new potatoes.
