Domaine de L’Aigle à Deux Têtes (Two-headed Eagle) was established in 2005 by Henri le Roy, a former polytechnician turned winemaker, driven by a passion for the land and its products. The Domaine includes special plots such as ‘Les Clous’ and ‘Derrière la Roche’ on the famous Marne Bleu terroir, ensuring a very nice, pure, rich style of wine. These wines boast the typical Jura minerality, with enormous depth, freshness, and Burgundian finesse!

Jura, France, L’Aigle à Deux TêtesL’Aigle à Deux Têtes, Les Clous Naturé Blanc 2022
“Naturé” is a local name of Savagnin. I say Naturé because people are used to the Savagnin trained as Vin Jaune, with this very special taste. But with the burgundian method of vinification, the wine is fruity (grapefruit, lichi, papaye), very mineral. Sometime, blind test, you can confond with a Saint-Romain or Puligny… “Les Clous” is the name of the parcel according to the land register. — Henri le Roy
