Northern Rhône, Domaine De Boisseyt, France, Rhône ValleyDomaine de Boisseyt Saint Joseph Blanc ‘Les Garipelées’ 2019
Grape varieties : 50% marsanne, 50% roussanne
This wine is a blend of parcels from the following localities: Madone, Calvaire and Corbonnes. It benefits from the highly different types of terroirs (muscovite granite and dark migmatite), exposures (north-west and south-east) and areas (plateaus, terraces and very steep slopes) provided by the three localities.
This offering is the truest expression of these granite soils, combined with two premium grape varieties. The end result is a striking wine, at once fresh, full-bodied and fleshy, with pleasant bitter mineral notes on the palate.
